Workshop: Fitting CS in my Course Schedule
Ever felt overwhelmed by the course options presented to students or the competing priorities within a school building? With CS added to the mix, finding time for an additional course in a student’s schedule can seem impossible. This workshop will provide strategies and best practices for adding CS courses onto student courseloads while fulfilling all credit requirements. This workshop is perfect for school programmers, schedulers, and counselors.

What We Offer
CS Toolkits
Pre-packaged workbooks that will lead you and your team through exercises to fully develop the vision for your CS program. These toolkits will help you to create implementation plans and expansion plans for new and already developed high school CS programs, respectively. Worksheets included can be used separately as singular resources if desired.
Administrator Professional Development
For school and district administrators looking to hone their knowledge of computer science, this PD is for you. Whether your school site(s) already have a CS program operating or you’re looking to get one of the ground, you can benefit from this training. You will cover:

Fitting CS in My Schedule
For many districts, CS blurs the line between core content area and elective, and finding time to fit another course into a student’s busy schedule can seem impossible.
