Our Services

 

CS for Success offers a suite of services based on the expertise of our staff. Each service is designed to be customized based on the requirements outlined by our clients. Additional project accommodations and consulting services are available upon request.

Curriculum Development & Implementation

Focusing on the creation and selection of your computer science offerings, each of our curriculum-based services is meant to assist with the overall design of your CS program.

  • CS Scope & Sequence

    Review of curricula for selected grades based on desired student outcomes; recommendations include course requirements for teacher and students e.g. student prerequisites and required teacher training and credentials as well the development of a curriculum map and corresponding standards alignment

  • CS Integration Plan

    Development of integration plan for any new or existing CS programs at an individual school, district, or state level; these plans are intentionally designed for a rollout that meets client requirements and available resources

  • CS Course Review

    Review of course and content materials to ensure the selected and/or newly developed curriculum is in alignment with your current program goals

Program Development

Our program development services provide opportunities to leverage data and community organizing as tools for sustainable growth for computer science programs that are ready to take the next step, connect with new community members, or create avenues for expansion.

  • CS Expansion Plan

    Development of an expansion plan composed of suggested CS offerings based on current performance and outcomes at a school, district, or state level; these plans are intentionally designed for a rollout that meets client requirements and available resources

  • Student Success Stories

    Capture and document student success stories related to a student’s involvement and development in their respective CS program to promote awareness and create exposure for future student involvement in CS

  • Partnership Development

    Extend in-class learning through the development of a strategic partnership model targeting local, state, and/or national partners

  • Policy Review

    Assessment of current program goals alongside a review of existing policies to determine any needed policy modifications to create a desired future state

Program Supports

Computer science programs that are looking to improve student or teacher outcomes should consider our program support services focused on providing opportunities for continued learning and professional development.

  • Instructional Support Model

    Creation of a framework for an instructional support model(s) based on available resources and current CS offerings; these models can include professional learning communities, professional development plans, instructional coaching, and/or other relevant professional learning opportunities

  • Postsecondary Alignment

    Development of a plan for integration of early college credit coursework into a pre-existing CS program which can include articulation agreements, Advanced Placement courses, available dual enrollment and dual credit course, and other relevant materials

  • Out-of-School Time CS

    Development of a framework for sustainable out-of-school time CS programs aligned to in-school CS offerings; out-of-school time CS programs, client requirements, and available resources
